MOSCOW, Jun 28 (PRIME) -- Russia’s car output soared by 11 times on the year and by 59.7% on the month to 42,200 vehicles in May, the Federal State Statistics service said on Wednesday.
The production of trucks increased by 72% on the year and shrank by 7.5% on the month to 13,100 in May.
In January–May, the car output fell by 42% on the year to 155,000 and the truck production increased by 0.3% on the year to 60,700 units.
